Designer Kevin Freeman originally ran a small made to measure bridalwear company in North London in the 80s – Diva Bridalwear, moving on to become assistant designer for award winning designers Catherine Rayner and Angela Stone.
With a background in theatre design, Kevin’s work often sits in the Avant Garde or Theatrical arena with work featuring elaborate draping, intricate seaming and lavish beadwork. There is a strong sculptural element to the work that ensures a Renaissance Couture piece always makes a statement.
The label has produced gowns for clients all over the world with work being featured in magazines and online both nationally and internationally.
Kevin Freeman is Director of Fashion and Textiles at Norwich University of the Arts .
His work now focusses primarily on education and research practice around his subject area.
